The manufacturer and dealer are linked through the internet, and the whole system can integrate with your legacy system on the backend. Other systems on the market require the dealers to all purchase a third party product to interface with the manufacturer's system. This causes problems when the dealer's computer needs to meet certain criteria, and support can be a nightmare with different dealers running different versions of software with potentially different conflicts due to system setup.
